TidyStack ("TidyStack", "we", "our", or "us") is a file management application that helps you browse, organize, review, and remove files stored on your device. We respect your privacy and aim to keep the processing required for the App's core functions on your device.
1. Information We Access
TidyStack may access files and folders on your device so that you can manage different types of content, including photos, videos, audio files, compressed archives, and other supported files. The App can also calculate overall storage usage and show the amount of space occupied by different categories.
File information is accessed only to provide these functions. Scanning, categorizing, calculating storage usage, and deleting files selected by you are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your files or their contents to our servers and do not directly collect personal data through these core features.
2. File Management Permission
Because TidyStack needs to inspect files across the device, calculate storage consumption, and allow you to delete selected files, it requires appropriate file management access. This permission is used only to provide the file management functions described above. You remain in control of which files you choose to delete.
3. Third-Party Services
To support certain operational, measurement, and advertising-related functions, TidyStack may use third-party platforms. These services may process limited information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
Attribution Platform
May process installation, campaign, or attribution information to determine how users discover and install TidyStack.
Analytics Platform
May process technical information, application events, and usage-related data to help us understand feature usage, identify issues, and improve the application.
Firebase
We may use Firebase for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or other supporting services. Information handled through Firebase is subject to Google's applicable privacy terms.
Aggregation Platform
The aggregation platform may collect "Installed apps" information for "Advertising or marketing" purposes. This information may be used by the relevant provider to support advertising measurement, personalization, or marketing-related activities, subject to its applicable privacy policy and user controls.
These third-party services are not used to upload or remotely manage the files that you browse or delete through TidyStack.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis
Where personal data is processed, it may be handled for purposes such as providing and maintaining the App, understanding application performance, measuring attribution, preventing misuse, supporting advertising-related activities, or complying with legal requirements.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, our legal basis may include your consent, performance of a requested service, our legitimate interests in operating and improving TidyStack, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where processing requires consent, you may withdraw your consent through available controls or by contacting us.
5. Sharing and Sale of Information
TidyStack does not sell personal data that it directly collects through its core file management functions. Certain information may be processed or shared with the third-party providers described in this policy when necessary for attribution, analytics, diagnostics, or advertising and marketing purposes.
You may choose not to permit applicable sharing or sale of your personal data by changing available privacy, consent, advertising, or device settings. You may also contact us to submit an applicable opt-out request. Where a third-party provider offers its own privacy or opt-out controls, you may use those controls directly.
You have the right, where provided by applicable law, to ask whether your personal data is shared, the categories of recipients involved, the purposes of such sharing, and whether your personal data is sold.
6. Data Retention
TidyStack does not retain the files, folders, or file contents that it accesses for its core functions on our servers. Such information remains on your device.
If personal data is processed by us, we retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide requested services, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or satisfy other legitimate requirements. Retention periods used by third-party providers may differ and are governed by their respective policies.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Request deletion of your personal data.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed in connection with TidyStack. Since the App's core file management operations are performed locally, the files and their contents are not transmitted to our servers for storage.
However, no electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. End User License Agreement
Your use of TidyStack is also subject to our End User License Agreement (EULA). The EULA establishes the terms and conditions governing your use of the App, including permitted use, prohibited activities, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and termination.
By downloading, installing, or using TidyStack, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable terms of the EULA.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, third-party services, data practices, or applicable legal requirements. When changes are made, the updated version will be made available through the App or the relevant distribution platform.
